Course Description

The Supply Chain Practitioner qualification is designed to equip learners with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively support and optimize supply chain operations. This includes planning, executing, controlling, and coordinating activities across the supply chain to improve efficiency and enhance organizational performance. The qualification prepares learners to contribute to operational success through logistics coordination, inventory management, and continuous process improvement.

This qualification responds to the industry’s growing need for skilled supply chain professionals, as efficient supply chain management plays a critical role in minimizing costs, improving service delivery, and maintaining competitiveness. It is ideal for unemployed individuals with a high school diploma seeking to enter the supply chain field, as well as for those already employed in administrative or logistics roles who wish to expand their capabilities and progress into more strategic positions.

The program includes comprehensive modules covering supply chain environments, operations, workflows, and inventory and logistics activities. Learners also explore the optimisation of supply chain relationships, and gain insight into the impact of operational activities, workflow processes, and logistics across the supply chain. Additional focus areas include planning and sourcing products or services, managing systems and stakeholder relationships, and understanding contracts, performance monitoring, risk management, stock control, and distribution systems. These skills are reinforced through real-world work experience, preparing learners to drive efficiencies, streamline supply chain processes, and support sustainable operations across various sectors.
